10-7 season over

Well, you should care about competitive advantage.

The Hawks’ attention to detail toward qb3 gives them a competitive advantage in that all the man hours spent evaluating Ahlers, Cordiero, Taulia and Walker can be diverted to other positions. The Hawks promoting both to the active roster means that the hawks are good there for camp so that now there are more resources for stuff you presumably care about.

If you say so, sis!

I don't expect Hall or Plumlee to make the Seahawks initial 53-man roster in August. I don't expect them to make the Seahawks initial PS squad 2 days later. The Seahawks will probably be looking at a UDFA rookie QB for the developmental role. Maybe they'll sign someone else with NFL playing experience to the PS if Smith or Howell have an injury concern.

I don’t expect either to make the 53 as the hawks typically carry only two qbs. I do expect at least one to make the ps.

I doubt they will turn to a udfa for that ps. If they get Zach Wilson at qb2, they’ll need to keep sam on the roster or see him poached off ps by mid season, just as Zappe and Ridder were.

No they won't.

He will last about half the season before being peeled off like Zappe and Ridder if exposed to waivers or ps poaching. But if you have Plumlee on ps, you do have an option of inserting him as the qb2 when Howell has to start.

She's onto something @Zebulon Dak ..

She's on something

Whatever Zeb. Fact is, the whole qb draft is expected to suck let alone UDFAs. Plus we suck more than others in selecting said UDFAs. We already don’t need to spend the time we did in years past.

Theres no need to introduce instability into the qb room this year. The biggest priority is really scheme.
