I don’t remember much about his 11 years as our st coordinator, and given that special teams only sticks out when they’re bad, it means we were adequate.
Since coming to sf, though, he’s been a disaster. First, he endorsed the pick of Jake Moody in the third round, and Moody has cost them four games at least. He rattles. The 12s should exploit this with sound.
He’s also not preparing his unit for fake punts, muffed punts, etc. The Rams exploited this, and so can we in a couple weeks.
He also lost one of key st playmakers to an acl.
Unlike Pete, Kyle hasn’t really given a shit about special teams. It’s unknown how much or how he’s kicking Schneider ass, but I bet Kyle still wont endorse any trick moves.
