Maybe the guys you really didnt like, but maybe the guys who broke your heart, or annoyed you in other ways.

QB: Clipboard Jesus
RB: Franco Harris
FB: Owen Gill.
WR: Joey Galloway. The player strikes of 1982 and 1987 were my first glimpse as a kid of the ugly side of football business. Joey Galloway was my master course in it.
WR: Derrick Mayes. Dude.. your whole job is to catch the ball..why cant you catch the ball??
WR: Daryl Turner. What a waste.. he was Koren Robinson before Koren Robinson.
LT: Ron Mattes.
LG: Steve Hutchinson. You didnt have to sign that poison pill contract.
C: Too many too list.. this has been the most mediocre position of all over the long term I think.
RG: Bob Newton
RT: Steve August Not a horrible player..but our 1st rounder in 1977..and we could have had Tony Dorsett..
TE: Jerramy Stevens Once you saw how he spelled his first name, that should have been the first red flag.

DE: Antonio Cochran.
DE: LJ Collier..but there is no shortage of candidates really.
DT: Lamar King. Drafted something like 7 spots in front of...Patrick Kearny.
DT: Shamar Stephen. Another guy who..its not really his fault. But There was a need and this is how the team filled it and THAT was annoying.
LB: The Boz.
LB: Aaron Curry
LB: Isiah Kaz.. I cant spell his last name. He was a good special teams player. So good he eventually got to play on defense. And thats when he earned his spot here.
CB: Nate Odomes.
CB: Cary Williams.
FS: Etric Pruitt. Dont make me explain. Honorable mention for Tedric Thompson who I went to bat for again and again..
SS: Keith Simpson. I should note.. that this is not his fault either. Simpson was a corner, and a decent corner. But the NFL to this day sometimes pretends that safeties are just corners who have lost a step.. and they moved him to strong safety and he played so badly that we drafted Kenny Easley the next year. For you youngins..in 1979 and 1980 the Seahawks surprisingly went 9-7 and a breakthrough seemed near. 1981 was a huge disappointment and Im not saying that is Simpson's fault but when youre the strong safety and youre in the box, youre supposed to tackle the guy with the ball before he gets to the free safety.

P: Umm.. yea.. dont know.
K: Josh Brown. For a while he seemed real cool.

HC: Tom Flores. Same undergrad school as me so it pains me to write this. (Seahawks trivia: 2 Seahawks head coaches have come out of tiny University of the Pacific, Flores and Carrol)

QB: Jake Heaps (just upset he's attached to the team officially)
RB: Julius Jones
FB: Owen Schmitt (his claim to fame was cutting his forehead on his helmet to "pump" himself up)
WR: Joe Jurrevicious
WR: Koren Robinson
WR: Dee Eskridge
LT: George Fant
LG: Steve Hutchinson
C: Chris Spencer
RG: Bob Newton
RT: Wayne Hunter
TE: John Carlson ( @Veta Mur & @Zebulon Dak know why)

DE: Grant Wistrom
DE: LJ Collier
DT: Jaran Reed
DT: Malik McDowell
LB: Cody Barton
LB: Aaron Curry
LB: Isiah Kacyvenski
CB: Kelly Jennings
CB: Cary Williams
FS: Brian Russell
SS: Deon Grant

P: Ryan Plackmeier
K: Josh Brown - Mr Slave-to-the-Businessman

HC: Jim Mora

Joe J.? Be careful, thats fighting words to a lot of people. He was like an instant folk hero.... Brian Russell is a good call....

I don't know if I can do this. I'm too much of a homer I tend to like everybody on the team. And pretty much all that I didn't like are already on your lists.

Jake Heaps is going to go the rest of his career as a Russell Wilson Whisperer and sometimes radio personality being called an "Ex-Seahawk QB" because he got fitted for a helmet at one point...

He played for the team for one-year... he's not some all-time great that people want to think he is.

yea..I wouldnt put him on my All Time Annoyed list, but Im with you..Ive always been surprised how deeply and fast people got attached to that guy. 1 season..and honestly, it was like 4 games where he really showed up.. and from those 4 games..a legend was born in Seahawk fan minds.

I liked Bevell. I wrote elsewhere that I think its underrated that he had enormous success with the resources given. People forget how they rewrote the playbook mid-season for Russ his rookie year to bend it what Russ was good at (Russ by the way seems to have forgotten that too). If you told most people "Im giving you a rookie 3rd round QB who is under 6 foot, going to give you multiple UDFAs for your receivers, a running back whose first team didnt want him because he had some issues, a bunch of nobodies at TE.. now go make an offense".. what would they have come up with?

His play calling was unorthodox at times, but the opposite of that would be.. predictable. People hated on his 3rd and 2 long bombs..except when they worked..

Honestly idk how bad now that Bevell was now that we know what we know about Russ
I still think Bevell was a great OC who made the worst call in the Superbowl.

His entire WR core was undrafted FAs, a near bust in Golden Tate and a broken Sidney Rice.
