I lived in sf for 17 years. I now live the next county over. If you’re over here for business or tourism, consider staying at one of the hotels near sfo, which is in San Mateo County. It is so much safer than sf or Oakland that it’s worth navigating your free time around watching the whales or enjoying a round of golf at the public Sharp Park Golf Course in Pacifica with views of the ocean. If you must tourist in SF, I strongly recommend the double decker tourist tours that will take you through Golden Gate Park and across the bridge or if you insist on a rental car, make sure you purchase the insurance for if/when it is stolen.

Even then, I would not visit downtown. Most of the stores are vacant. Either people are selling fent or meth, passed out from fent, or robbing people so they can get drug money. spent my 20s in Detroit in the 1990s. Honestly it was safer than either SF or Oakland are. If a first rounder WR can’t defend themselves, you as a normal citizen literally have no chance.

The case is in juvenile court as of now, but believe me, this is unlikely to be handled with no bail and a release back to the custody of his parents. In fact, if it was his parents’ gun, the parents should be investigated as to how it was accessible. You can see the wound clearly at the end of the video. Had it been more to the left, Pearsall might have died.

Pawn shops were a thing I really avoided.

There were nights when the highways out of Detroit were so hazardous that you’d take Woodward Avenue north. I ran red lights routinely as being stuck in bad areas by snow sleet was worse. So Detroit was bad, but one could generally navigate hazards.

In most of San Francisco, you generally can’t.

It could theoretically happen. The man was scheduled to play week 1 before he got shot in the chest. He’s in the weight room three days later.

The kid had his first hearing in much in which his lawyer indicated that he was “very sorry” as was his family. “He is a young boy,” said the public defender.

Who was proven in court records to have a “matter” with San Joaquin County, which is where perp lives. Elon Musk retweeted the viral accusation that this person is a norteno gang member who was caught and released three days before the incident for illegal possession of a firearm. If there’s anything to the latter, there needs to be the motion to go to adult court.
