So, he tested slow in the 40 at a 4.6. Thats really not great for a HB..and thats probably why we got him where we did. But, watching his film now.. he plays faster than that and is a RB that can do it all . He seems to be able to run between tackles, over people, hes got some wiggle to get around people, he can catch and can operate in space. Yea..hes perhaps slow so we may not get 40 yard home runs out of him. But he seems better than wed expect.

40 times often ignore quickness. In my school years In could beat most the my teammates to 20 yds but that's where my speed tailed off.

Same thing when I played. In college and pros.

Given your history I would have thought of you as being VERY fast. Running down the street with merchandise that you recently acquired etc.

0.14 of a second slower than Lynch. Not too worried. Kid looks to have a great all around game and can catch. With K9, him and the kid from UCLA i think the backfield has a good chance to look really sharp for the next few years provided nobody gets hurt.

If you can get a Travis Homer replacement in the 7th, that's a good pick.

On his pass-blocking and special-teams alone, Homer was worth a roster spot. His running skills and opportunities looked better by his last year with the team; we may get that from year 1 with McIntosh.

His 10 yard split wasnt great.. 1.54, but that is the same as Charbonnet. Its tied for 9th.

The interesting thing about the draft and stats is that there has NEVER been any credible evidence that good stats lead to success in the NFL.
