Seahawks likely to sign QB PJ Walker

Walker has started and won with two clubs. Last year he beat the 9ers followed by a 4 point loss against Seattle. That’s more than you can say for Nathan Peterman or Brett Rypien or other peers. I don’t understand the hate.
 
He'll be fun in the 2nd half of a few preseason games. And who knows, if Grubb doesn't like Howell maybe he takes the #2 job. More likely than not he'll be watching games at home this season until some team gets desperate.

Howell would have to play AWFUL to lose the backup job to Walker. He played better than Walker at any point last season. Walker was bailed out by a stellar D.

It's a long shot for sure. Just acknowledging the idea that PJ was brought in because the coaches were unimpressed with Howell. I don't buy it but you never know.
 
PJ's my boy. Had the Panthers in the playoffs if his receiver doesn't blow everything up for them via a cunty celebration.

And as Zeb said, he'll be great for preseason. QBs that can't scramble should be prohibited from playing in August. Fucking dreadful. We had to watch Austin Davis far too long.

I hope he makes it through waivers to sign with our practice squad. He’s an ideal backup’s backup who will push Howell and even coach him up.

PS quarterbacks can now be elevated as emergency qb3 as many times as a team wants without using a roster spot.
